  Good girl gone bad is back! Her new  album, It’s not me, it’s definitely you’ is out now!! Born and raised in Manchester, shes becoming as famous as The Ting Tings and Oasis put
together, hitting the music scene hard and her talent and charm is getting hot, hot , hot!

.After releasing her single, ‘Secret’ last Monday and listening to  the album twice.. maybe three times, it’s fair to say it’s not going to
disappoint any eager fans queuing up in the cold waiting to get a signed CD in Manchester HMV, on the 20th of December. The twenty something Stacey Silver will be there to sign CD’s from 12AM. Also with some huge stars appearing on the album including David Guetta,
 Taylor Swift, Ellie Goulding and Labrinth it would be ridiculous if it wasn’t on your Christmas list this Starting out singing in cafes’ and open mic nights she got her lucky break when her cousin put a YouTube clip of her singing on the internet and it went viral. Ever since she’s had agents and record companies ringing her blackberry and since then, her life hasn’t changed a bit. Here she tells
Amplified why she wouldn’t change her life for anything or anyone. Stacey turned up in a hoodie, and barefaced for our photo shoot; ready to tell all to Amplified.

AMP: Hey Stacey, it’s great having you here. You’re looking stunning as ever How are you?
STACEY: Hey, thanks for having me! I
love getting glamed up for a shoot, it makes me feel so glam! *giggles*
AMP: Well you do look glam so our stylists did a good job! Lets start of with the nitty gritty. What’s ‘It’s not
me, it’s definitely you’ all about? Tell us the real story. Did somebody not pick pick up your Cinderella glass
 slipper Miss Silver?

STACEY: *Laughing* Well yeah, I guess you could say that, but it was me that wasn’t picking up his glass slipper in the end! Relationships are hard and having to keep it a secret was even harder. After nearly a year of sneaking around because he didn’t want to be in the press made me realise if he couldn’t do that for me, then he didn’t deserve me.

AMP: The spotlight isn’t for everybody I guess but I don’t know a single boy who would turn town a picture with Stacey Silver! There is lot of emotional tracks on the album, are you still feeling heartbro
kken?
STACEY: Obviously not. I felt like he just didn’t care for me that much, and If he would of wanted to publicise our relationship I think we would still be
 together now. I was heartbroken when he broke up but after six months of moping about I’m finally getting back to my normal self... finally!

AMP: Well that’s good to hear, would you say the album helped you get over him?
‘’An album is a good way to get closure’’

STACEY: Yeah definitely! I was completley heartbroken, your first love is the worst to get over. The album is kinda in chronological order from the first track being all crazy

in love and the last being completely over him. An album is a good way to get closure, I recommend it to everybody!
AMP: I’ll remember that if I ever break
 up with my boyfriend. Your sell out gig in Liverpool last night supposedly
finished an hour and half after it was suppose too.. which was at half past three!
STACEY: It was all a bit crazy, everybody was cheering for an encore and to be
honest I just really didn’t want to go
home! I sang a lot of songs I wrote when I was a teenager and I had a lot of tweets
the next day asking what track on the
album they were! I’m happy that my fans liked my songs I wrote when I was younger about my dad struggling with a drug addition.
AMP: Ooh does that mean another album next year? You didn’t want to go home?
STACEY: Yes defiantly, well I hope so. It gets lonely living on your own sometimes. I may be a pop star but I would never get dragged into the ‘rock n roll drugs scene and I don’t want any tragedies happening
at my gigs which is why it is a strictly anti-drug zone at any of my gigs.
AMP: It’s great to hear you are trying to help keep your fans safe. It’s been great speaking to your Stacey
